Owner Nick Cianciola started in the painting business during his college days in Boston. While a student, he operated a College Pro Painting franchise for three successful years. True to his nature, instead of just running the business, Nick picked up a paint brush and worked with the experienced painters he had hired. He looks back on those days fondly as his older crew “showed him the ropes” of painting houses with no small amount of colorful language.

Back in Ohio after graduation and after many years working in and around the construction, management, and painting industry, Nick decided to make a commitment to himself and the community by establishing Fairmount Painting in 2010. That year, Nick and his small crew painted 18 homes for as many pleased homeowners.  Many costumers from that first year still use Fairmount Painting for all their painting needs. We are proud of the fact that we are just now getting around to painting the exterior of homes for the second time for the same satisfied costumers – a good 10 years in between exterior paint jobs is pretty good for the tough Cleveland climate!
